Welcome to All Dreams

Welcome to All Dreams

A place to talk all things Film and TV.  A place to talk about all the feels from when Daniel told Issa "I got you" in Insecure or when John McClane had to walk barefoot over broken glass in Die Hard or when Offred almost escaped in The Handmaid's Tale and the plane got shot down or when Prometheus turned out to be way scarier than the trailer let on or when Rose was selfish and let Jack die in Titanic because she couldn't scoot over on the plank of wood (one day, we'll forgive her, one day).

You see there's this myth that millennials don't like movies and long form television. Everyone thinks we're the generation that only watches two minute clips on random social media pages. And we do watch those because who doesn't want to watch a video on making an epic, 7 layer dessert that we'll never attempt to recreate. But that's not all we watch.

We have smart phones and social media pages now, but our generation wasn't raised on them. I don't know about you but I watched Hey Arnold in elementary school, not Youtube or Facebook. I like good, quality entertainment. I more than like it, I love it. Nowadays, there are so many outlets for entertainment that it is getting harder to find the good stuff. I don't want this to turn into a place where we trash talk shows/films, but a place to talk about the good stuff (past and present).

The thing about movies and shows, they're not on the top tier of things you can't live without, like air and water (unless you went to film school like me, then hello friends). Though we don't always realize it, they leave imprints on our minds, our hearts and even in our dreams.

Comment below, let me know what movies/shows you want to talk about. The ones you loved, the ones that kept you up at night, the ones that made you want to be a doctor, superhero, wedding planner, ghostbuster, teacher, bad ass, etc...
